Emergency Food Support
Under the Emergency Food Support program, SAN provides clients with emergency bags that are tailored to the client's specific needs. A one-time emergency food bag is available to those clients who are not accessing any other food programs but who have emergency food needs. SAN makes every effort to enroll such clients onto the weekly or bi-monthly food distribution programs depending on the client's eligibility. SAN also distributes homeless food bags and motel food bags on a case-by-case basis that include ready-to-eat items for those that are in difficult situations and have little or no means to prepare food.
